The Civil Infra Academy 2025, held on May 13th at the Van der Valk Hotel in Dordrecht, brought together infrastructure professionals who use Autodesk, Esri, and other software solutions. The event featured practical sessions on integrated BIM approaches, AI-driven visualizations, and leading software including Civil 3D, GeoDin Ground, 3ds Max, Fuzor, and ReCap Pro.

GeoDin Ground takes the stage

A highlight was Rik van den Berg-Bor's presentation on GeoDin Ground, providing valuable insights into how the software integrates with Autodesk Civil 3D to create more streamlined workflows for projects requiring both precise ground data and sophisticated design capabilities.

GeoDin made a strong impression with Roy Koeslag and Hans Link engaging visitors and demonstrating GeoDin Ground, our specialized Civil 3D app for geotechnical and design engineers. The team showcased how the solution effectively bridges the gap between ground data and design processes. Visitors were also treated to an exclusive preview of GeoDin Onsite, the upcoming solution for capturing ground data directly in the field, which generated considerable excitement for its potential to improve efficiency and accuracy.

The team was happy to receive high levels of interest throughout the day, with many attendees asking specific questions about how GeoDin Ground could address their unique challenges, particularly in projects requiring detailed geotechnical considerations. 

GeoDin's solutions aligned perfectly with the event's focus on BIM-GIS integration, demonstrating how geospatial data can be leveraged directly within design environments to make processes smarter and more efficient.
